Service 01
Platform access & ad accounts
Most Chinese platforms won’t let a foreign company register an ad account on its own. I handle registration, verification and setup end to end — and tell you upfront which platforms are worth the effort for your category.
What this looks like
Accounts that open, and stay open
Verification is a paperwork conversation with a platform reviewer, not a form you fill in once. I sit on the Shenzhen side of that conversation.
- Advertiser verification submitted against your licence and landing page
- Industry category matched to what the platform will actually approve
- Billing and recharge set up under your own entity — you see every yuan
stay open”>| Platform | What you get | Typical blocker | Timeline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Douyin | Brand account, ad account (Ocean Engine), Douyin Shop | Chinese business licence or local partner; face verification; industry qualifications | 2–4 weeks |
| Xiaohongshu (RED) | Brand account, ad account, brand store | Enterprise verification; category licences (beauty, health food, medical devices) | 2–3 weeks |
| Bilibili | Brand account, ad account | Content compliance review; gaming and education need extra documents | 1–3 weeks |
| Toutiao | Brand account, ad account (Ocean Engine) | Same Ocean Engine flow as Douyin; entity documents | 1–2 weeks |
| Kuaishou | Brand account, ad account (Magnetic Engine) | Entity verification; some categories restricted | 2–3 weeks |

What “registered in your name” looks like
A real account setup has four gates. Most failed applications die at gate two — this is where having someone on the ground in Shenzhen matters.
1 Business license & domain
Your entity, your domain, your ICP. No agent-of-record games.
DAY 1–3
2 Advertiser verification
Platform KYC on the license, the industry category and the landing page. The step that kills foreign brands.
DAY 5–15
3 Account & billing
Ad account opened in your company name. Recharge via your own entity. You see every yuan.
DAY 16–20
Common questions
- Do I need a Chinese company?
- For most ad accounts, yes — either your own WFOE or a local partner entity. I’ll tell you which route is cheaper for your case, including the ones where it isn’t worth it.
- My verification was rejected. Can you fix it?
- Usually. Nine rejections out of ten come from a mismatched entity name, a missing industry licence, or a Chinese landing page that doesn’t match the category. I fix the cause, not resubmit blindly.
- Do I keep the accounts if we stop working together?
- Yes. They’re registered under your entity, and admin access is yours from day one.
